Processing of Personal Data
The purpose of this section is to inform you about the way PROXY processes your personal data and about your rights associated with personal data protection.

PROXY processes all personal data in accordance with legal regulations relating to personal data protection, primarily in line with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation, hereinafter referred to as a GDPR) and in accordance with our internal rules and principles.
Processing your personal data in accordance with law is our priority. We have appropriate technical and safety precautions in place, which are continuously updated in order that your data is well safeguarded. Personal data can only be accessed by authorised persons. PROXY has adopted and follows internal rules, regulations and procedures, which protect your data from loss, abuse or unauthorised access.
Personal Data We Process
- Identification data– name and surname, academic title, date of birth, data on the identification documents, address of permanent residency, etc.
- Electronic contact data – phone number, email address, data storage ID, etc.
- Other personal data – data needed for drawing up contracts
PROXY does not process so called sensitive data, i.e. the data referring to racial or ethnic background, political beliefs, religion and philosophical beliefs, membership in trade unions, data of genetic or biometric character for the purposes of identification of people, data on sexual life, data on criminal convictions, with exception when the legal regulations require processing of such data.
How Do We Source Your Personal Data?
We acquire your personal data from publicly accessible resources (commercial register, trade register, insolvency register, register of owners, internet) and directly from you, possibly from third parties. The data is acquired predominantly for the purposes of drawing up contracts, identification of clients in accordance with AML law, when communicating with you or when using the online forms.
What Is the Purpose of Processing of Your Personal Data?
We process your data in a way limited to what is strictly required for the given purpose; in most cases the purpose is the following:
- Compliance with legal regulations,
- Fulfilment of the contractual stipulations,
- To ensure our legitimate interests,
- Based on the consent given for processing of data for marketing purposes and sending commercial communications or bulletins; your consent can be revoked anytime you decide to do so. How Long Do We Store Your Data?
Your personal data is not stored longer than necessary, as required by legal regulations, and in accordance with our internal principles. Generally, the data is not stored longer than 15 years.
What Are Your Rights Relating to GDPR?
In relation to GDPR your rights are the following:
- The right to access the information (what information or copies about you are being processed)
- The right of correction (in case you find out we process wrong or incomplete data)
- The right to be forgotten - erased (under certain conditions stipulated by law, your personal data can be erased)
- The right in the scope of content (in case you fulfil the conditions stated by law)
- The right of data portability (in case when we process your data on the basis of the given consent and when your data is, parallel to this, being processed automatically)
- The right to object the processing of your data
- The right to file a complaint – in case when you suppose that legal regulations have been breached
All your requests will be carefully addressed once you email them to us at office@proxy.cz. We will assess your queries in accordance with legal regulations and we will respond to you without delay. Our response will be sent in a written form to your email address.
Changes
These stipulations will be updated in case when changes occur. Updated content will be posted to our website.
